Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. De La Garza is a beautiful actress who was born the year 1976, in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad as well as an Irish American mom. She moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities including local independent films and global commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for performing. After that, she relocated to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Through the first half of the decade She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards in the character's honor, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. She won the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the NBC's dramatic, dark thriller Do No Harm she played the role in the role of Dr. Lena Solis. The show was later cancelled by NBC following only two episodes.
